The Albany is a stylish riverside pub with a difference, located just outside Thames Ditton on Queens Road and on the opposite side of the River Thames from Hampton Court Palace. The pub dates back to 1886 when it was home to a thriving theatrical community that came in from London’s West End.

For decades The Albany was the social centre of Thames Ditton; theatre in the winter and regattas in the summer – it was and still is the place to be seen and enjoy fine wines and great food.

The atmosphere at The Albany is relaxed, friendly and informal. The most important ingredient is our people, you’ll love the warm hospitality that will make your visit a memorable one.

Our opening times are:

Monday to Sunday from 11am
Dining room from 12 noon

Weekday Lunch & Early Evenings

Don’t wait for the weekend to eat well. Enjoy a lovely meal for a little less Monday-Friday: 2 courses for £11.95 or 3 courses for £15.45 until 7pm

Fresh Fish & Fizzy Fridays

If you love a bit of bubbly then fall in love with Fridays as we give you Proseccos for £15 and House Champagne at £20 all day! There's traditional fish & chips and we’ll be showcasing our chef’s talents with a delicious selection of fresh fish & shellfish specials.

Lazy Weekends Start Here!

We all love a lazy Saturday – the perfect day for a long lunch, a cheeky cocktail and a catch up with friends. If the sun comes out you can bask on our fantastic sun drenched deck all afternoon. Be sure to book early though!
